December 27, 2024Building Bikes and Bringing Joy: Smith Douglas Homes Makes a Difference in Raleigh

At Smith Douglas Homes in Raleigh, community engagement goes beyond building houses. For the second year in a row, our team came together for our annual bike-building event, an initiative that combines teamwork with giving back.
This year, with our local partners' generous donations, we assembled over 70 bicycles, which will be donated to two local organizations, Hope Connections and the Children’s Home Society of North Carolina, to fulfill the holiday wishes of children in our area. For many of these kids, a bicycle was at the top of their wish list, and we’re proud to play a part in turning those dreams into reality.
